Skills You Might Learn

Students will, while under supervision, be learning the use of hand tools related to basic construction and engineering. They will learn to be part of the team while observing and using OH&S procedures followed on the work site.

Typical Tasks & Duties

This position will include activities around assisting the staff in work with construction and engineering as well as cleaning up the site, using hand tools and performing basic construction and engineering ry tasks. Most of the jobs will performed onsite and may include interaction with customers.

Student Requirements

The student must have completed the OH&S module or else have begun the OH&S module in the relevant WRS/VM or VET course.

Dress Requirements

Appropriate work clothing suitable for outdoor work. High Vis, enclosed steel capped boots and hat are also required.
