This opportunity is located at a pre-school in Broadford and will be suited to a student who LOVES little people and desires a career working in childcare or early learning. Ferguson St Childcare and Kindergarten are a team of dedicated early childhood professionals, entrusted with the health and wellbeing of each child, within the highest quality “learning through play” environment, whilst working in partnership with families and the community.

You will extend your knowledge of the industry, communication skills, employability skills, problem-solving and times management, interpersonal and social skills.

Typical Tasks & Duties

You will have the opportunity to work as part of the child care team and will undertake a variety of tasks which may include: Caring for children, planning and running engagement activities, setting up and cleaning up, food preparation and general administration duties.

Student Requirements

Students should have a can do attitude and a willingness to learn.

Dress Requirements

Students should be well presented wearing smart casual with non-slip shoes.

Special Transport Requirements

Students are required to be able to make their way to the Childcare Centre.
