Skills You Might Learn
Students completing placement at LTKI have the potential to gain the following skills: learn about day-to-day tasks of a design studio, administration, communicating with customers, and working within a small, creative team.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Students undertaking work experience with LTKI can expect to travel onsite with the supervisor, join trips to private homes and retailers, work with the team and observe the design/estimation process, assist with admin tasks, practice using industry software and assist with customer service.
Student Requirements
Students should have a keen interest in interior design & fit outs. If possible, bring a laptop (if not, it will be provided by the employer). A cover letter and CV is required with your application. Email to: schooltowork@iellen.org.au
