This placement situates the student amongst multiple health and community services across which are delivered across a large region including Cohuna, Koondrook, Quambatook, Pyramid Hill, Boort, Swan Hill are surrounding areas.
This placement will participate across programs such as Allied Health, Mental Health, Health Promotion, Community Support, Community Care and Administration.

Skills You Might Learn
Skills Attained Students will gain some hands-on practical experience while assisting staff with Community Services. The students will be working in real-life scenarios in a real life environment.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will gain both hands-on practical experience and hands-off planning and follow up exposure to meet service requirements based on client choice and person centred-care.
Students will be required to be an active participant in all workplace practices while being closely supervised by staff.
Student Requirements
A student schedule is developed with the students interests in mind and based on services available to involve a student in service delivery.
Where possible all NDCH services and sites will be considered for the student to gain greater awareness of the region and diverse needs of our communities.
Dress Requirements
Students must wear neat casual dress appropriate for the work place. No singlet tops or denim, enclosed black shoes are required for work placements.
Special Transport Requirements
Students will need to arrange their own transport to work.
