Typical Tasks & Duties

Every work placement will be tailored to each individual student, but some main tasks may be:
Complying with company health and safety requirements;
Actively participating in Daily Management System meetings;
Conducting sampling and testing;
Performing routine calibration, verification and maintenance activities on laboratory testing equipment;
Assisting with writing and reviewing laboratory documentation; and
Reviewing product specifications and ensuring all results are in line with specifications.
Warehousing Processess

Student Requirements

A genuine interest in Manufacturing/warehousing operations.
Be willing to learn and take initiative and pride in tasks undertaken.
The employer values communication skills, teamwork, punctuality and initiative.

Dress Requirements

Student should adhere to all instructions given regarding PPE and appropriate dress requirements when meeting with the employer.
