Bakers Delight Wendouree

This opportunity is for a Baking placement. Successful student/s will learn all aspects of bread baking, working side by side bakers and having a hands-on experience. While this placement is listed as being in the Wendouree franchise store, there are 5 franchise stores across the Ballarat area (Victoria Street; Lucas; Woolworths Eastwood Street, Ballarat Central; and Sebastopol) who have indicated that they will take students who meet the requirements below. There is also an opportunity for those students who do very well in their placement to be considered for ongoing casual work, and even a SBAT.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Student duties will include:
- assisting in the day to day tasks of the business
- setting up and packing down of equipment
- following instructions and workplace rules, and
- observing workplace health and safety laws and policies.

Student Requirements

Students will be required to call and make a time to meet with the business manager/s for an informal interview 1-2 weeks prior to proposed commencement date.

Dress Requirements

Neat and tidy, work-appropriate clothing to be worn (long pants, covered-toe shoes, polo or tee shirt with no inappropriate designs or graphics).

Special Transport Requirements

Store is on a public bus route (Howitt Street).
