Skills You Might Learn

You will have the opportunity to spend time with experienced mechanics, focusing on assessing, diagnosing and repairing vehicles in order to build a strong set of technical skills. You will learn to change oil, remove wheels and safely operate equipment such as hoists and power tools.

Typical Tasks & Duties

As a Mechanic's Assistant you would be expected to perform a variety of tasks assisting mechanics to repair, operate and refurbish vehicles. You will install, repair and replace mechanical parts in automobiles and gain knowledge of automobile processes and composition.

The daily routine also includes clean up and preparation for the day ahead. Followed by working closely with the Motor Vehicle Technicians on site. The students will be expected to carry out duties using safe practice at all times and having regard for the safety of customers, fellow employees and themselves.

Student Requirements

Ambarsariya Car Mechanic is seeking a student who is keen and displays initiative. Someone who is not shy to ask a question when in doubt.

Dress Requirements

Closed shoes. overalls or tough work clothes.
