There is a wide array of roles undertaken at City of Casey ranging from town planners, building surveyors and engineers to maternal and child health nurses, kindergarten teachers, customer service operators and event coordinators.

Typical Tasks & Duties
Spend a week with the Horticulture team at City of Casey, learning what a career in public space horticulture can be like and undertake the following tasks...
• Weeding
• Mulching
• Pruning
• Raking
• Plant care
• Litter collection
Student Requirements
This placement would suit a candidate who is interested in horticulture and being outdoors. Students will be respectful, professional and courteous at all times. Students are asked to come on time with an enthusiastic attitude and a willingness to learn.
Dress Requirements
High Vis top, work pants, work boots, work gloves, earmuffs and safety glasses.
