This place is designed for student to expand their knowledge in equipment of many tools and equipment used in the plumbing trade, learn the language of the trade and use the opportunity to expand their network of trades in the plumbing sector for their future.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will be following a 10 program designed to give them the best outcomes for their understanding of the industry which is aligned with their logbooks. Completing OH&S modules online in the store. Customer service (shadowing sales staff in week 1) Stocktaking Merchandising of stock Cleaning Completing orders for tradesman by the end of week 2 Assisting with general admin Read and interpret plans and specifications Preparation to work in a plumbing industry.

Student Requirements

Students are required to be doing a VET in Plumbing. This placement is for Year 11 students ONLY Students must contact the employer within 1 week of this placement being arranged.

Dress Requirements

Warehouse Manager on site to specify during interview

Special Transport Requirements

Students must arrange their own way to placement.
