This solid grounding in automotive maintenance and repair will provide the right student in gaining an automotive apprenticeship. Working with power tools and equipment necessary to the occupation and business. Liaising and working with colleagues, manager, customers/clients and suppliers. Application of safe working practices.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Changing oil & filter, removing wheels, checking tyre pressures, replacing wheels, check & top up fluid levels, maintaining a clean & safe working environment, general servicing, working on brakes, general repairs and other duties as directed. Communicate with customers to help them with their service and spare part requirements via phone, email, or face to face. The students will be expected to carry out duties using safe practice at all times and having regard for the safety of customers, fellow employees and themselves.

Requirements You need a genuine interest in the trade and have strong willingness to work in this area. Interested students needs to be punctual, hardworking, able to listen and take direction, be capable of showing initiative and able get along with people.
