Unicraft Joinery design a vast majority of the kitchens, bathrooms and other joinery along with manufacturing the joinery in their workshop on site and provide a precise detailed installation service to their clients. An opportunity exists for SWL with the company in the workshop, where the successful student will gain experience in cabinet making and joinery from qualified Tradesmen, with a view to an opportunity as a Full Time Apprentice for 2021 for the right student!

Typical Tasks & Duties
The typical student duties will include basic workshop duties including cleaning and tidying of work areas, assisting Tradesmen as directed; Carry out measurements and calculations required for construction projects. Observe and, if possible, assist in assembly of cabinets/furniture. Observe and adhere to all OH&S procedures and signage of the worksite.
Student Requirements
Student must have a genuine interest in this industry, as the position could possibly lead to an apprenticeship. Must have good work ethics and the ability to work under instruction. Sound mathematical ability is a must as well.
Dress Requirements
Industrial workwear including steel capped boots.
Special Transport Requirements
Travel Arrangement Form required as position may involve travel to a worksite with Tradesman.
