This is an exciting opportunity for a student interested in the Animal Care to gain hands on experience at Playful Paws, who operate as a day care centre for dogs, and other services such as dog training, classes, and more.

Skills You Might Learn

You will attain industry specific skills including: hands on practical experience, observing and learning from industry qualified and experienced professionals, working with tool and equipment necessary to the industry, liaising and working with supervisors, colleagues and customers.

Typical Tasks & Duties

While on placements, you may undertake tasks such as assisting with the feeding and cleaning of dogs, assisting with basic care and grooming, as well as demonstration of exceptional customer service. An ability to multi-task is essential.

Student Requirements

You must be self-motivated, have a keen eye for detail, be willing to listen and follow instruction.
