If you’re a seeking a work experience placement or have a VET Business student with an interest in pursuing a career in Financial Services, this is a great opportunity to participate in a ‘real-world’ work placement.
Established in 2011 by George Flack OAM this busy financial planning business became part of the EJM Group in 2024. With a close-knit team of qualified professionals, they deliver personal financial strategies to create and protect their client’s wealth over the long term, while dealing with day-to-day financial stages and challenges of life. The team offers the following services:

Please note students undertaking this placement will gain a general understanding of the services and processes but will not be included in client meetings or review client documents as per privacy and confidentiality restrictions.

Typical Tasks & Duties
Typical tasks and duties may include but not limited to:
Reception - answering incoming calls, filing, letting staff know when clients have arrived and basic data entry using industry specific software.
Other tasks will include ‘shadowing’ various staff and learning what is involved within their areas/units and the services they provide. You will undertake tasks specific to that vocation, which may include data entry, using industry specific software, and assisting with general administration duties across a range of areas.
Student Requirements
Students are required to have an interest in pursuing a career in the finance industry or administration roles, be confident using computers and willing to listen and observe.
Personal mobile phones are not required and should only be used out of work hours or on meal breaks.
Dress Requirements
Neat casual business attire with closed in shoes.

Public transport is available.
