Stacpoole Mechanical Services are locally owned and operated by Josh and Rachael Stacpoole. The Stacpoole name has been in the mechanical business for 4 generations specialising in Heavy Road Transport Repairs and Servicing. Also offering a range of other services:
- Roadside Breakdown repairs
- Manufacturer approved book servicing
- Air conditioning
- Welding
- Roadworthy certificates for heavy vehicles
- Diesel engine repair
- General maintenance

Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will be responsible for the following tasks;
- Assisting Stacpoole Mechanical trained staff with related mechanical activities
- Engaging with customers related to mechanical activities as advised by Stacpoole Mechanical trained staff
- Completing all related tasks as assigned by Stacpoole Mechanical trained staff
- Hands on learning in Diagnostic & Service/Repair
Student Requirements
The following requirements must be met;
- Students are required to have a keen interest in mechanics
- Students must be able to spend extended periods on their feet
- Students must have a willingness to learn and be able to follow instructions
- Students must be willing to communicate clearly and work with a team
- Students must have displayed an interest in the area of Automotive services.
Dress Requirements
Work shorts or pants. Collared cotton drill work shirt. Steel Cap/enclosed shoes. No loose clothing. Long hair must be tied up.
Special Transport Requirements
The student will be required to arrange their own transport; if transport is presenting a problem, please contact CGLLEN to discuss available options and support that can be provided. If it is proposed that the student may need to undertake vehicle travel with their employer and/or supervisor during the arrangement (including transporting the student to and/or from the workplace), the employer must complete the Work Experience Travel and Accommodation Form.
