This is a fantastic opportunity to work with at a Mercedes Benz specialist. They service other European cars, offering full service, engine rebuilds, gearbox and brake servicing. You will be supervised by experienced mechanics and given the opportunity to practice and build your skills in mechanical service and repair.

Skills You Might Learn

Students will use and maintain tools and equipment; apply safe work practices; participate in basic vehicle servicing; observe experienced mechanics; comply with OH&S procedures.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will have the opportunity to spend time with experienced mechanics, focusing on manually assessing, diagnosing and repairing vehicles in order to build a strong set of technical skills. Duties include oil change, remove wheels and safely operate equipment such hoists and power tools.

Student Requirements

Students are expected to be on time and ready to work safely in a team.

Dress Requirements

Work boots and a black work clothes

Special Transport Requirements

There is a bus connection to Reservoir station.
