Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will have the opportunity to spend time with experienced professional staff, assisting in the following example task and duties under supervision:

• Contribute to health and safety of self and others
• Assist with filing, data entry, and record keeping
• Prepare and organise property management documents and reports
• Assist in answering maintenance requests and coordinating trades to oversee repairs (supervised)
• Schedule and coordinate appointments and meetings
• Assist in creating marketing materials
• Help manage social media accounts
• Support community engagement initiatives and events

It's important for work placement students to ask questions, seek guidance, and follow instructions from their supervisors to ensure they are performing their duties safely and effectively.

Student Requirements

Students are expected to be on time and ready to work safely in a team.
The student will be mature and prepared to go the extra mile. They will also need to show enthusiasm and an interest to learn new skills. They need to be focused and able to listen to instructions and follow through with instructions to complete a task. The student needs to be punctual and possess good work ethics.
