Sunny Electronics is a Melbourne based SME and due to expansion, we are creating social media campaigns for generating leads and brand awareness. We are looking for someone who eats, breathes and sleeps social media – Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn etc.
This is a great opportunity for a student wanting to learn to use their social media affinity to build a brand and customer base.

Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will have the opportunity to spend time with experienced professional staff, assisting in the following task and duties under supervision:
• Create engaging and viral content that resonates with the target audience across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Schedule posts, respond to comments and messages, and analyse performance metrics.
• Provide insights into trends and opportunities available to the business through social channels and how to activate them effectively and within budget.
• Work with the Director to ensure that the brand is accurately and consistently represented across all social channels.
• Stay up-to-date with best practices and emerging trends in social media marketing.
• Manage paid advertisements and generate favourable ROI for Facebook and Instagram Ad Manager, Google AdWords. Create reports and analyse data relevant to each campaign. Support social media budget management, make recommendations on social spending, and track monthly invoices.
• Develop a ‘tone’ of communication for the company.
• Perform other tasks and duties as required.
It's important for work placement students to ask questions, seek guidance, and follow instructions from their supervisors to ensure they are performing their duties safely and effectively.
Student Requirements
Students are expected to be on time and ready to work safely in a team.
The student will be mature and prepared to go the extra mile. They will also need to show enthusiasm and an interest to learn new skills. They need to be focused and able to listen to instructions and follow through with instructions to complete a task. The student needs to be punctual and possess good work ethics.
