The student will learn to use their own initiative in undertaking tasks. They will become familiar with plumbing fittings and cutting pipes

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will gain an opportunity to learn from a qualified plumber. They will undertake a hands on experience. Students will also learn by observing duties performed. They will be able to perform duties as deemed safe by the employer.

Student Requirements

An absolute willingness to listen and show initiative. No mobile phones! Students should be enthusiastic and have a basic knowledge of tools. The student must be reliable.

Dress Requirements

The student is required to provide own safety boots and work pants or tracksuit pants. They will be supplied with a work short.

Special Transport Requirements

Students must provide own transport to and from the shop site. Public transport is available.
