Established in 1995, Julise Beauty Therapy offers a wide range of beauty services including facial treatments, massages, microdermabrasion, bridal make up, spray tanning, nail care and waxing. This placement enables Beauty Services students the opportunity to get a close up look at the day-to-day operations of a busy beauty salon.
This is a great opportunity for students undertaking a Certificate III in Beauty.

Skills You Might Learn

Practical experience will vary based on skill level, ability, and enthusiasm. Certificate III students may engage in waxing, manicures, pedicures, eyelash tinting, and perming. Additionally, students will gain experience of customer service, such as active listening, effective communication and problem-solving.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Handling customer service tasks, including answering phones, taking and confirming bookings, and stocking rooms with essentials. Participating in treatments based on competency level. Ensuring cleanliness by cleaning, sterilising, and maintaining rooms for client readiness.

Student Requirements

Student must have a keen interest in Beauty Services or currently undertaking a Certificate III in Beauty Services. Students must also have the ability to show initiative and respond to direction.
An ability to show initiative and follow direction is essential along with a friendly and helpful attitude.

Dress Requirements

Neat casual clothing and closed toe shoes.

Eden Rise Shopping Centre is accessible via public transport. Buses regularly stop along Clyde Rd.
