W140387 - Farm hand

Farm hand
Naturally Goat

An excellent opportunity exists for students interested in Regenerative Agriculture. Naturally Goat has over 70 goats and believe farming should be ethical, cruelty free and regenerative. The herd have over 40 acres to graze and browse on and are not locked up in sheds or small pens. Students will learn the importance of reducing tillage, promoting soil cover with cover crops and crop rotations, increasing biodiversity through the use of multiple crops and livestock, reducing or eliminating the use of synthetic inputs such as fertilizers and pesticides, and integrating livestock into crop production systems to enhance soil fertility. This dairy farm provides wonderful, creamy milk that is then turned into a luxurious range of soaps, skincare, body care and hair care.

In 2021 the employer Orianna won the award “Young Business Leader of the year” and in December 2023 Orianna took home the title of “2023 NBAA business of the year” for her company, Naturally Goat.

To be part of a "working farm for milking goats", students should share this opportunity with their teacher today!
