Rochdale Pharmacy are looking for SWL students currently studying Allied Health. The student will gain real hands-on industry experience in pharmacy retail, sales, stock control and customer service. Each student placement will be supervised by a friendly pharmacist to provide the highest standard of patient care in a pharmacy environment.

Typical Tasks & Duties
The primary role of the Pharmacy Assistant is to assist customers with their healthcare needs. Students will be responsible for:
- Assisting customers with general queries
- Replenishing stock and maintaining inventory levels
- Setting up displays for catalogue promotions
- Assisting in the dispensary with scripts in/out
Student Requirements
Best suited to Year 11 or 12 VCE/VM student currently undertaking Cert III in Allied Health Assistance. Applicants should bring an up-to-date Resume to the interview, highlighting their passion for the industry and any previous experience (including employment in other fields).
This employer would like to meet with candidates who are outgoing, with a focus on customer services and a strong work ethic. They should be reliable, responsible, show initiative and a level of maturity.
This employer requires all students to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
Dress Requirements
Standard salon attire, neat and clean, all black, closed toed shoes, well groomed (especially the hair), discreet jewellery.
Students are to wear neat casual dress appropriate for the work place.
Special Transport Requirements
The student or parent/guardian (where the student is under 18 years of age) is responsible for the student's transport to and from the workplace.
The chemist can be reached via public train and bus networks.
