Skills You Might Learn

Skills relating to stock replenishment, merchandising and customer service whilst gaining product knowledge and trade contacts will be gained. Bunnings also aim to assist students with obtaining the skills necessary for their future VET studies.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will be involved in stock replenishment, merchandising and customer service. Students will also have the opportunity to interact with members of the public and tradespersons. This will build their confidence and communication skills and also lead to familiarity with those operating in their desired industry.

Student Requirements

Must contact store supervisor to organise interview.

Dress Requirements

Safety boots (steel capped), Jeans or shorts (dark colours), No board shorts or light colours. Bunnings will provide polo shirt, apron and name tag.

Special Transport Requirements

Must make your own way to placement and travel safe
