The Y Ballarat offers after school care at 4 sites in Ballarat, 2 site with Bacchus Marsh Grammar, Ararat and Hamilton, and run from 3pm - 6pm

Typical Tasks & Duties

Tasks/Activities undertaken by student during their placement: Setting up and packing away activities, supervising school aged children, participating in daily activities with children and engaging in meaningful conversations, assisting with cleaning up after meal times.
Assisting in the day to day tasks of the business;
Interacting with customers (internal and external);
Set up and pack down of equipment

Student Requirements

Working With Children Check (only applicable for students over the age of 16
Punctual, reliable, trustworthy and responsible; Shows initiative; Listens and takes direction; Prepared to work hard; Positive attitude; Good communication and interpersonal skills, gets along with others

Dress Requirements

Smart casual, enclosed shoes, long pants
