If you’re either studying business or genuinely interested in pursuing a career in finance, this is a great opportunity for you to gain an understanding of the industry!

As one of the largest accounting firms in regional Victoria, this local accounting firm have a team of 90 professionals, from interns and undergraduates to senior managers and partners. Offering services such as tax, advisory and audit, they help both business and individual clients achieve success.

Work experience students will have opportunity to gain exposure across multiple departments and be mentored by team members.

This placement will provide students with valuable insight into exciting career opportunities in accounting and finance.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Whilst on placement students may observe and assist with the following tasks and duties:
• Shadow accounting, audit and internal audit teams on client assignments
• Data entry and proofing
• Engagement with various departments
• Attending internal/team meetings
• Assist in the processing and maintenance of workplace information
• Ad hoc tasks as requested depending on student interest and skill level

Student Requirements

Students are required to have an interest in pursuing a career in the finance industry, a friendly manner, neat presentation and have sound literacy skills. And to be self-motivated, willing to listen and happy to follow instructions.

Personal mobile phones are not required and should only be used out of work hours or on meal breaks.

Dress Requirements

Neat casual business attire e.g., pants or skirt and shirt with sleeves, no logos and enclosed footwear.

Special Transport Requirements

Public transport is available.
