AVFX have over 35 years of experience in the entertainment supply market. They are an audio and visual supplier of specialised entertainment, film and television, function and venue equipment and services. AVFX are happy to host enthusiastic students studying a related Certificate at their St Kilda Road site.
This placement aligns with Certificate III in Music through the below units of competency:
CUAIND314 Plan a career in the creative arts industry
CUASOU308 Install and disassemble audio equipment
CUAIND313 Work effectively in the music industry

For 1 day per week placements - Placements should only be for a maximum of 5 weeks. Students can seek an additional 5 weeks (20 weeks maximum, as per guidelines) should both the student and employer agree after a successful first placement.

Typical Tasks & Duties
Students completing placement at AVFX can expect to: Assist with products, repairs, installation of products, unloading equipment, setting up equipment and sound checking equipment. You will be working as part of a team.
Student Requirements
Students should be self motivated, and have an interest in Technical Production. They should also be enthusiastic and willing to learn, punctual, with neat presentation, and a polite manner.
Dress Requirements
Students should wear smart casual clothing, and appear neat and tidy.
