5X Unique opportunities for students interested in work experience in the Environment Team at a large power station.
AGL Loy Yang asset consists of a 2,200 megawatt power station, together with an adjacent brown coal mine which is the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. The power station supplies approximately one third of Victoria's power requirements.
As an Environmental Team Assistant at AGL Power Station, you will gain hands-on experience in environmental management practices within the energy sector. You will work closely with the environmental team to support sustainability initiatives, compliance with environmental regulations, and the implementation of environmental programs that ensure the power station operates in an eco-friendly and sustainable manner

Student Requirements
The student will have a passion for environmental science and sustainability. They should be eager to learn and contribute to the environmental efforts of a Power Station, while developing their knowledge and skills in the field of environmental management.
Students need to complete an AGL Loy Yang work placement application form available from their Careers Teacher @ their school
Dress Requirements
Must wear PPE long sleeved top/shirt, long pants and steel capped boots (no shorts are permitted)
Special Transport Requirements
