Glelnelg Shire Council is a long time supporter of the SWL program and this is a great opportunity for a keen student to find out about gardening

Students will have the opportunity to strengthen their employability skills with this placement. Having to operate as part of a team, using workplace communication skills, managing their own time, planning and using initiative and enterprise are all important skills for this opportunity.

Tasks and duties undertaken by students in this placement would involve supporting staff in providing care for animals and the spaces provided for them.

Student Requirements

Students must have a curious and enthusiastic attitude to work. Students need to be able to enjoy outdoor practical work

Dress Requirements

Students are to wear neat casual dress appropriate for the work place

Special Transport Requirements

Must be able to attend work site
