• Product ordering and delivery systems

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will assist trained staff in performing duties under supervision, these may include:
• Customer service roles in the various sections of the store e.g., counter service and trade and timber
• Stock replenishment
• Warehousing
• Product delivery systems and displays
• Assisting customers to locate items
• Completing all related cleaning and setup and pack away tasks

Student Requirements

Students must have a genuine interest in the retail trade industry and willingness to learn. Students must also communicate clearly and work as a productive team member.
Mobile phones are not required and should only be used during lunch break off site.

Dress Requirements

Long pants and shirt (weather dependent), steel capped or work boots. If hair is longer than shoulder length it must be tied up.

Special Transport Requirements

Student to make own transport arrangements.
