Typical Tasks & Duties

• During your placement, you may:
• Shadowing staff in the Branding and Communications and Events teams.
• Assisting with the creation or editing of social media content and internal communications.
• Helping prepares visual assets such as images, infographics, or videos.
• Supporting the planning and logistics of professional development events or conferences.
• Attending team meetings and brainstorming sessions for campaigns or event ideas.
• Observing how brand consistency is maintained across ACEM materials.
• Learning how to schedule social media posts or update web content.
• Gathering feedback or data from past events and contributing to reports.

Student Requirements

• Be interested in media, marketing, communications or event planning.
• Have basic writing and computer skills and be open to learning new tools.
• Show creativity, attention to details, and a positive attitude.
• Be reliable, punctual, professional in their conduct.
