Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will gain valuable insight into the health industry by attending placement at Priceline Pharmacy.
Students may be involved in a range of tasks such as:
- Observation of pharmacists conducting medical procedures,
- Observation and support of staff in responding to client queries
- Observation and support of medical stock control
- Observation and support in stock control, creating webster packs, delivery of medications to the community
- Responding to queries
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment and utilise appropriate infection control measures,
- Supporting the Priceline Team
If working at Madden St Priceline - students will be involved in observation and support of staff conducting Sleep Apnoea consults.
Students will also be involved in practicing infection control measures when cleaning and maintaining CPAP equipment.
Students may also be involved in Stock Control and customer service.
Student Requirements
Students are required to follow all confidentiality principles and hygienic practices while at Priceline Pharmacy.
Students must be physically fit enough to stand on their feet all day.
Students to demonstrate respectful behaviour to team members and customers
Students to bring pen and paper for note-taking of instructions.
Students must leave phone on silent or off in bag in staffroom.
Students to follow instructions closely and use effective communication.
Students to report to the supervisor if they are unsure about a situation or instruction.

Dress Requirements
Students must wear closed toed, comfortable shoes (as they will be on their feet for the day)
Students are to wear black pants and a neat top (a Priceline shirt will be made available to those at Darlot St Priceline Pharmacy.
Students to have hair neatly tied back, be well presented according to Pharmacy standards.
Jewellery should be minimal. Students to be clean and hygienic for placement.
Special Transport Requirements
Students to make their own way to placement.
There is some public transport within Horsham that students can access.
