This placement is in a modern and spacious Honda Dealership. The workplace contains a fully equipted workshop and a well stocked show room area. The focus is on the sale and servicing of a wide range of Honda small motor products such as mowers, outboard motors, pumps and of course motor cycles. Students will be exposed to a good range of learning experiences.

Skills You Might Learn

The student will have the opportunity to experience the following; using hand tools to assist in a job, perform basic mechanical tasks and perform office administration techniques while supervised.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Duties at Power Products will include basic workshop maintenance and assisting staff with general servicing of small engines. Students will be supervised to enable them to use hand tools while helping with simple mechanical tasks.

Student Requirements

The students must have completed the OH&S module in WRS VM or else have begun the OH&S module in the relevant VET course.

Dress Requirements

Students are to wear neat casual dress appropriate for the work place plus sturdy work boots.

Special Transport Requirements

Students will need to organise their own transport to work
as there is no public transport in the Nyah Road
