Are you passionate about farming? Are you currently studying a Certificate II or III in Agriculture? If so, a placement at Korrangie farms is perfect for you! Koorangie Farms is a leading family farming enterprise situated near Kangaroo Lake. With approximately 5,000 hectares, the farm comprises of cropping drylands irrigation, approximately 2,500 beef cattle (some pasture fed, and some grain assisted), and 2,000 merino sheep. The company has been involved with SWL previously and enthusiastic students will have many opportunities to learn from a business that is a leader in its field.

Typical Tasks & Duties
Duties are varied. Some days it may be attending to animals and learning about farming life. Other days it may be about land protection and stock protection all which are vital to a working farm.
these duties may include assisting with vets, fencing and fence maintenance, feeding the stock, watering the stock and learning about hygiene of animals and their living environments.

Work boots and safety gear.
