Are you passionate about nature & love dealing with people within your community? If so this is a great opportunity to gain experience working within an Adventure Park

The Ranch is a 200 acre, adventure park on the Mornington Peninsula.

The Ranch offers FUN and ADVENTURE for the whole family! Whether it’s a horse ride, a camping trip, a family stay, adventure weekend or a day trip to try any of their activities.
The Ranch is an ideal setting for school camps, group bookings, weddings and special events! It truly is a unique venue.

The Ranch prides themselves on being friendly and accommodating. Their mission is to get all people outside having FUN in a safe environment.

The Ranch is a family run business (not including all their animals)and they love living on the property. They have had the business for 6 years now and have learnt a lot!!
Lots of changes have been made over the last few years and we have been working hard to make improvements wherever possible. The Ranch will continues to grow and evolve and looks forward to sharing their place with you.

Skills You Might Learn

Students may have the opportunity to attain a broad range of skills while on work placement. These will include valuable general employability skills such as:

A range of specific health and fitness industry skills and experiences may be gained through this placement. This placement will contribute to your practical placement requirements to complete your qualification. Please contact your school or training provider regarding any practical placement assessment requirements.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will be able to undertake a combination of hands-on tasks and active observation. As this is a general placement across all aspects of the business tasks may vary. The types of activities might include helping to facilitate activities, equipment maintenance, engaging with school students, helping with setting up activities, some administration work, creating activity programs and work in the horse yards and animal nursery and helping out with lunch service.

Student Requirements

1 DAY PER WEEK. . This is a terrific placement opportunity for students who are keen to enter the industry. Priority will be given to Frankston and Mornington Peninsula Schools.

Special Transport Requirements

The ranch is NOT close to public transport.
