BK's Gymnastics Craigieburn
BK’s Gymnastics provides gymnastics programs for babies and toddlers, through to kinder, primary, and high school-aged kids.
The BK’s class structure will follow a two-week program based on a set of skill competencies relevant to each developmental milestone. The programs are designed to educate, be engaging, and be fun and ensure correct techniques and basic to advanced body mechanics, in addition to developing essential physical and behavioural skills, and a life-long passion for sport and recreation. This placement could align with your Certificate III in Sport & Recreation via the following Units of Competency:
SISXCCS001 Provide quality service
SISXCAI006 Facilitate groups
BSBWOR301 Organise personal work priorities and development
Skills You Might Learn
Students completing a placement here have the potential to gain the following skills: Communication, team work, coaching, customer service, interpersonal skills with a wide range of students/parents, administration skills
Typical Tasks & Duties
Students completing placement can expect to: assist qualified coaches with program delivery, assist with moving groups of children to the next activity, assisting students with movement, pre-class administration duties, welcoming students upon arrival, setup/pack down of equipment according to the assigned program.
Student Requirements
Students must be friendly, have good communication skills and an interest in sport. Should the student want to work with the competitive groups, they must have a high level background in gymnastics. They should also be enthusiastic and willing to learn, be punctual with neat presentation, and a polite manner.
Dress Requirements
Uniform provided. Appropriate footwear must be worn. Minimal jewellery should be worn.
