The Braybrook and Maidstone Neighbourhood House Inc is a non-profit and charitable institution. The central purpose of the Braybrook and Maidstone Neighbourhood House is to provide direct relief from poverty, misfortune and helplessness to the residents of the Braybrook, Maidstone and surrounding areas through the services it provides.

This placement suits a community focused young person with an interest or are studying community services/youth work or related allied health fields.

Students will be working with the team to help deliver programs and services for the community.

Students will get a wonderful opportunity to work with sector specialists and learn more about the Community sector. They will also gain:

Typical Tasks & Duties

-Students will work across various programs and team members. The role will be community facing, so people skills and willingness to engage with the patrons is essential.

- Assisting staff with running of programs
- admin support
- Clean up and set up of rooms
- Program design
- Engaging with community members.

Student Requirements

Students to contact manager for interview. Students must be dedicated and passionate about the sector and willing to give it go.
