The employer is happy to negotiate a flexible work and training arrangement with the student to ensure their vocational study requirements are met. If you want learn more about the Hospitality Industry, or about Subway's trademark system, or about restaurants for the future, then this is a great opportunity to do so. This employer is happy to accept two student placements, but not at the same time.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Cash handling, customer service, stock take and packing, food and drink preparation as well as food safety practices. Students will learn the point of sales system as well as how to multitask and work effectively as part of a team.

Student Requirements

Suitable for students studying Hospitality (UoCs for Hospitality will be limited) or VCAL Studies.

Students must be presented well, hair tied back, no nail polish and mobile phones are only to be used on their breaks. It is recommended but not compuslory, that the student has completed http://dofoodsafely.health.vic.gov.au/ prior to placement.

Student vaccinations must be up to date according to age and eligibility, according to Government and industry guidelines at the time of placement.

Dress Requirements

Closed toed, nonslip shoes. Minimal jewellery and long hair tied back for food safety purposes. Other Uniform items will be provided.

Special Transport Requirements

Public transport by train or Bus. Subway Rosanna is a 2 minute walk from Rosanna Railway Station.
