Kilmore Ford is offering a dynamic work experience placement for students
interested in the automotive industry. This is an exciting opportunity to gain firsthand experience in a professional dealership environment, working alongside qualified
technicians and customer service personnel. The placement will expose students to a range of automotive service and sales processes in a regional Ford dealership setting.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Tasks under direction of qualified staff may include:
 Observing in basic vehicle servicing (oil changes, tyre checks, etc.)
 Shadowing qualified technicians during diagnostics and repair tasks
 Supporting staff with workshop cleanliness and tool preparation
 Assisting in the parts department with stock organisation
 Gaining exposure to customer service procedures within the dealership
 Observing vehicle sales and booking processes at reception

Student Requirements

Work hours are typically 9am–5pm unless otherwise arranged. Students should demonstrate interest in automotive studies or a related field and be comfortable in a workshop environment.

Dress Requirements

Neat casual clothing appropriate for a workshop environment (e.g., work pants and
Steele Cap Safety Boots. High-vis vest and PPE will be provided if required.

Special Transport Requirements

Students are responsible for arranging their own transport to and from Kilmore Ford.
