Kilmore Ford is offering a dynamic work experience placement for students
interested in the automotive industry. This is an exciting opportunity to gain firsthand experience in a professional dealership environment, working alongside qualified
technicians and customer service personnel. The placement will expose students to a range of automotive service and sales processes in a regional Ford dealership setting.

Typical Tasks & Duties
Tasks under direction of qualified staff may include:
Observing in basic vehicle servicing (oil changes, tyre checks, etc.)
Shadowing qualified technicians during diagnostics and repair tasks
Supporting staff with workshop cleanliness and tool preparation
Assisting in the parts department with stock organisation
Gaining exposure to customer service procedures within the dealership
Observing vehicle sales and booking processes at reception
Student Requirements
Work hours are typically 9am–5pm unless otherwise arranged. Students should demonstrate interest in automotive studies or a related field and be comfortable in a workshop environment.
Dress Requirements
Neat casual clothing appropriate for a workshop environment (e.g., work pants and
Steele Cap Safety Boots. High-vis vest and PPE will be provided if required.
Special Transport Requirements
Students are responsible for arranging their own transport to and from Kilmore Ford.
