Housed in Bendigo this is the region’s premium sporting and entertainment precinct and largest indoor stadium outside metropolitan Melbourne.
Built in 1976 the stadium has undergone major developments to meet the growing demands for indoor sporting and entertainment facilities and now offers 10 indoor multipurpose courts and 12 outdoor courts, and a spectacular 4,000 sear show court arena. Showcasing some of the best international sports and entertainment which equates to 180+ events each year, it’s recognised as a world-class facility.
This administration placement requires students to spend time in different areas of the corporate services team, which may include reception, marketing, partnerships, sports, events, and HR in order to experience and understand the varied career pathways available.

Typical Tasks & Duties
Depending on each students’ competencies and areas of interest they will observe and work alongside industry qualified and experienced professionals across a range of areas where you may liaise with supervisors, colleagues, industry personnel, customers/clients, and suppliers.
Typical tasks and duties may include:
· Observing and taking part in customer service (depending on level of competency) e.g., welcoming clients and directing enquiries
· Dealing with email and phone enquiries
· Observing and assisting with event and marketing operations
· Communicating information changes to teams
· Observing accounts processing invoices, quote requests and purchase orders
· Filing, general data entry
· Set up and pack away tasks e.g., meeting room preparation, event assistance
· Ad hoc tasks as required as directed by supervising staff members, depending on area of interest And ad hoc tasks as directed by supervising staff members, depending on area of interest e.g.

Student Requirements
Students are required to have an interest in pursuing a career in administration, marketing and/or events, be mature minded, confident using technology related to tasks, following instruction and be willing to listen and observe. Personal mobile phones are not required and should only be used out of work hours or on meal breaks.
Ideally suited to students studying a certificate qualification in Business Administration or a keen interest in the industry.

Dress Requirements
Neat casual business attire e.g., skirt/long pants with a sleeved shirt (e.g., no ripped jeans or t-shirts) and closed in shoes.
