Typical Tasks & Duties

Clean and tidy service areas
Serve food and beverage to customers
Provide food and beverage service
Provide table service of beverages
Provide customer service
Prepare and serve non-alcoholic beverages
Develop and update food and beverage knowledge
Prepare and serve espresso coffee
Typical duties students may be involved in include:
• Food & drink service
• Customer Service
• Food preparation
• Cleaning and other duties.
Please note this role may include both front and back of house, dependant on student capability.

Student Requirements

Students must be willing to learn and interested in hospitality. You will need to be well presented, and work well in a team environment.

Attend pre-placement interview

Good communication skills
Some knowledge of the Hospitality Industry

Dress Requirements

Covered in shoes
Black pants/skirt/dress
Plain black t-shirt
Students are required to have a neat appearance.
They must also have:
• Enclosed shoes
• Hair tied back if longer than shoulder length
Apron supplied
