Skills You Might Learn

•Assist with kitchen preparation (basic food prep, stock handling, etc.)
•Support with cleaning and sanitising of kitchen areas, tools, and equipment
•Learn how to follow hygiene and food safety procedures
•Help keep the kitchen organised and running smoothly
•Work as part of a team in a high-energy environment

Typical Tasks & Duties

•Assist in preparing and serving fresh, high-quality food
•Support the team with kitchen prep and stock management
•Help maintain cleanliness and follow hygiene protocols
•Deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly, positive attitude
•Work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

Student Requirements

•A positive attitude and eagerness to learn
•Good communication and teamwork skills
•Ability to follow instructions and maintain hygiene standards
•Interest in kitchen work, hospitality, food handling, or customer service

Dress Requirements

•Black closed-toe shoes (school shoes acceptable)
•No jewellery or visible piercings
•Hair must be neatly tied back

Special Transport Requirements

Getting to Jamaica Blue – Cranbourne Park by Train:
Catch a train on the Cranbourne line (from Flinders St or any connecting station).
Get off at Cranbourne Station – it's the last stop.
Walk ~6 minutes to Cranbourne Park Shopping Centre.
