Dandenong & District Netball Association supports netball participation from grassroots to competitive levels, offering development programs, junior and senior competitions also Umpiring and Coaching pathways. This placement provides students with hands-on experience in community sports giving valuable insight into sports management, event coordination and team operations.
This is an excellent opportunity for students passionate about sport and interested in pursuing a career in physical education, or sport management.

Typical Tasks & Duties
• Assisting with warm-up activities and basic skills drills
• Supporting coaches during training sessions
• Helping to manage equipment and court setup
• Competition Management
• Customer service
• Canteen Duties
• Basic admin tasks.
• Social media content support (optional, based on student interest)
Student Requirements
• Interest in sport, fitness, and coaching
• Comfortable working with children and young people
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Reliable and punctual
• Willingness to follow safety and child protection procedures
• WWCC (if 18+) or school-issued clearance for minors
Dress Requirements
• Sportswear (tracksuit pants/shorts, runners)
• Closed Sports shoes
• Association-branded shirt (if provided)
