Skills You Might Learn

Practical and hands on opportunity to learn how to assemble cabinets and consider design and layout. You will learn the importance of accurate measurement, keeping a clean workshop, working as part of a small team and understanding work expectations of punctuality and commitment.

Typical Tasks & Duties

The student will gain hands on experience in edging, assembling and installation of cabinets, making draws, assisting tradesmen, sanding, shelving, cleaning, some fitting removal and unloading of equipment.

Student Requirements

You need a genuine interest in the trade and have strong willingness to work in this area. Interested students needs to be punctual, hardworking, able to listen and take direction, be capable of showing initiative.

Dress Requirements

***Students must provide their own steel-capped boots, pants, and all other protective clothing requirements.

Special Transport Requirements

OWN TRANSPORT IS REQUIRED 🛻
Students need to be able to travel independently to the working location.
