Skills You Might Learn
Students will have the opportunity to gain an understanding of the basic principles of electricity and of the use of specific tools and procedures relevant to electricity supply and uses. Students will learn how to interact with work colleagues and customers as well as general employability skills.
Typical Tasks & Duties
Typical students tasks may include assisting with basic electrical procedures under supervision, general tidying, working alongside other employees, interacting with customers, handling electrical equipment and basic tools.
Student Requirements
Student should have an interest in the electrical industry and have a strong desire to learn, a preparedness to work in the team environment and be punctual and reliable.
Dress Requirements
To be discussed with work placement provider
Special Transport Requirements
Students are to make their own way to and from the office, and will be able to travel with the supervisor
