Typical Tasks & Duties
Typical task and duties include but not limited to, work alongside trained staff to:
- provide varied stimulating activities for the residents
- ensure residents are participating in those activities by engaging with them
- communicate with the residents
- help setup and pack up activities
- learn daily report writing that may be required
- learn OHS and requirements of the role.
Student Requirements
Students are required to undergo an induction, which will include a confidentiality agreement. Students must be respectful of residents and be willing to engage and communicate with them.
Dress Requirements
Neat casual. It’s preferred that a collared shirt is worn. Covered in shoes are a OHS requirement.
