An Indigenous SBAT is available at ANZ - Greensborough. As a Banking Customer Service / Teller, the student will learn the importance of being the first point of contact for customers at a financial institution, report to a branch supervisor or manager, handle customer account inquiries and resolve issues and assist customers in ordering new debit/credit cards. The successful candidate needs to be studying Certificate III in Business or Certificate III in Financial Services so the branch staff can confidentially develop and apply Customer Centric, Customer Engagement and Customer Delivery experiences. Typical Tasks & Duties
During a typical day, the Banking Customer Service/ Teller may assist with customer enquiries, handle financial transactions, balance cash, help customers learn how to get the most from their digital banking experience, and cross- or upselling products and services.
During a typical day, student tasks and duties at this level may include the following:
- Working with multiple communication channels
- Receiving and responding to customer requests
- Handling customer complaints
- Handling enquiries and resolving issues
- Identifying customer needs
- Facilitating deposits and withdrawals and drawing up or cashing cheques
- Preventing fraudulent transactions and losses and ensuring customer account safety
- Promoting bank products and services
- Often working to personal and business-wide financial targets
Student Requirements
The indigenous student needs to be studying Certificate III in Business Administration or Certificate III in Business. This opportunity is best suited to someone who can demonstrate the following:

Special Transport Requirements
Student must organise their own transport to the workplace. Local bus station is approximately a 5-minute walk.
