Year 9 Work Experience Industry Taster Pilot Program
Students to get exposed to a range of industries to assist in Career Planning
Students will learn about the industry and career roles available through the work experience orientation.
Students will have a tour, induction and then be given entry level activities in seed cleaning a range of grains

Typical Tasks & Duties
Students will learn about work experience and the agriculture seed industry.
Students will have a tour, induction and presentation about Intergrain and the range of careers in the seed supply industry.
Students will be inducted into introductory seed cleaning activities and be involved in seed cleaning.
Student Requirements
Students are required to complete safe@work certificate
Students to listen attentively, follow instructions, use respectful behaviour and polite manners.
Phones are to remain in backpacks until the end of the day
BYO packed lunch and water
Prepare 3 questions about intergrain, agriculture industry, seed cleaning, marketing
Dress Requirements
Students to wear sturdy closed toed shoes (work boots if possible)
Long trade pants or jeans
Shirt, jumper/coat, hat
Hair tied back
