Skills You Might Learn

Typical Tasks & Duties
Assist staff to set up and pack up activities for education and play, learn about hygiene, observe behaviour patterns in children at various ages and stages in their development. You will be involved in hands on help with naming and hanging up artwork, preparing children for outdoor activities, engaging in meaningful play, wiping tables and tidying up after activities
Student Requirements
This opportunity would suit a student who has a desire to work with children and has positive work place attitudes and ethics. To work with children you will need to have a positive friendly manner and use language suitable to children
Dress Requirements
Discreet jewellery, long hair tied back, closed toe shoes, dress suited to working with children, to be discussed at interview.
Special Transport Requirements
Students must provide own transport to and from the centre. Public transport is available
