Border Truss and Frames have been operating in Cobram since 2009, specialising in manufacturing timber roof trusses, wall frames and floor joists for residential and commercial industries.In this particular opportunity students will be assisting the Gardener/ Groundskeeper on site. Typical Tasks & Duties

Typical tasks and duties include but not limited to; mowing lawns, hedging, pruning, branch lopping, wedding, mulching and other general gardening duties. Students will also be required to assist the groundskeeper with pool maintenance and preparing and maintaining all equipment used.

Student Requirements

.The following requirements must be met;
- Students are required to have a keen interest in Horticulture.
- Students must be able to spend extended periods on their feet.
- Students must have a willingness to learn and be able to follow instructions carefully.
- Students must be willing to communicate clearly and work as a productive team member.
- Students must be willing to communicate clearly and work with a team, this includes notifying the workplace supervisor and the careers teacher of any planned or unplanned absences.

Dress Requirements

Please discuss with the employer at the preplacement interview. Protective, industrial Clothing including safety boots will be required.

Special Transport Requirements

Students are to organise their own transport.
