Rare Earth Hair provides a wide range of professional services to their clients, including keratin treatments, hair extensions, styling and colouring. You will have the opportunity to maximise your skills and knowledge during your time at the salon, with the Manager happy to identify your strengths and ensure you gain the maximum benefit from your apprenticeship.

Skills You Might Learn

Communication skills, teamwork, customer service, product knowledge, blow drying, exposure to hairdressing booking systems and washing hair.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Shampoo hair, keeping the salon clean and tidy, making customer’s tea/coffee, general housekeeping, greeting customers, getting equipment ready for the qualified hairdresser and assisting other staff members as required.

Student Requirements

Keen to pursue hairdressing in the future, creative flair, open to learn, passionate and energetic.

Dress Requirements

Closed toe shoes. Rest to be discussed at meet and greet

Special Transport Requirements

Close to public transport.
