Skills You Might Learn

Student will be assisting tradespeople with all aspects of the operation including reading engineering drawings, collecting components for jobs, cleaning work spaces, basic welding , grinding , metal and wood fabrication and packing of customer orders under supervision.

Typical Tasks & Duties

Students will be working as part of the team. This will include welding the super structure that sets are attached to and construction of sprung dance floors. There are opportunities to gain a variety of experience in welding, fabrications, timber construction, plastic moulding and electrical circuitry.

Student Requirements

This work placement will suit a student who wants to experience a variety of roles, working alongside experienced professionals. Bring your communication and problem solving skills.
